To RR AND EX;

"That you go forth into large or small cities according to your ability, as Colporteurs or evangelists, seek to find in every place the earnest Christians, many of whom you will find possedded of a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge; to these seek to make known the riches of our Father's grace, and the beauties of His word, giving them tracts."  I think there are alot of evangelists today in the world going town to town.
So lets do what if?  We turned the T.V. on and the clone of Pastor Russell was made.  He is informed of all the so called Christians going from town to town, while his standfast adherents sit idoly by.  He asks them, you have my righting on the preaching don't you?  They reply, we don't use the word Colporteur anymore.  He replies then, evangelize, that word is still used.
How many of you would go and evangelise from town to town for him now?

P.s. Can you find me that 10 minute preach time and you are in?
Your problem BQ is that you think we sit on our hands all day and do nothing. While we have no organized efforts because we have no governing body or central headquarters, that does not mean we are not individually or ecclesiaqstically organized. We publish books, booklets, tracts, videos, DVD, audio. We advertise on the internet, newspapers, magazines, television. We have public witness efforts, public talks, showings. We have produced movies, teleivision and radio programs. We are at fair booths, we do tractinbg (street work) knock on doors, visit neighbors and everything else available to us. We have online meetings and teleconference studies for those who have no fellowship near them.

Saints have been found here and there. The Lord knows who are his. And when they are searching for Him, he will lead them.

RR, as you already know, most of mankind who have died will be resurrected. This will no doubt be an organized event (not everybody being brought back at the same time), thereby limiting the number of unrighteous ones so they won't overwhelm those who have proved that they want Christ kingdom. As for Jehovah "slaughtering" people as you put it, consider Matt. 24:37-39...."For just as the days of Noah were so the presence(Parousia) of the son of man will be".....................Jesus is talking about the destruction of ungodly ones at armageddon!

Well then I guess the "ransom for all" isn't for all, eh?

No the ransom is still for "All", surely you don't think everyone is going to except it do you? As I'm sure you must know, there are some people who don't want to have anything to do with Jehovah, Jesus or anything related to it! So, the bottom line is; the ranson is for all those who EXCEPT it.

That's my point. In order for them to reject it, they must know about it, free from the adversaries temptations. That can ONLY happen during the mediatorial reign, when Satan is abyssed. Remember the world is blinded NOW, during the peaceable Kingdom, they will be taught, the scales will fall from their eyes, they will see, understand. Only then can they be judged.

Unfortunately it's a vicious circle of reasoning. In order for a person to really appreciate the ransom for all, it really has to touch one's heart that the opportunity to learn of Christ and His Kingdom MUST happen during his reign. NOT before, during. Then, and only then will Christ start to judge people, whether they are walking on the Highway of Holiness or not, and that at least a hundred years!

RR, what about those BS and Jw's who have an "Earthly hope", will they be living in a world just the way it is now? with the exception satan is abyssed.

I emphatically agree with RR's comment that "Bible Students" (such as we refer to ourselves) are those who have consecrated themselves and relinquished all of their earthly rights for the privilege of being accepted by Christ as his bride.

consider Matt. 24:37-39...."For just as the days of Noah were so the presence(Parousia) of the son of man will be".....................Jesus is talking about the destruction of ungodly ones at armageddon!

No he is not.  You misunderstand the purpose of armageddon. It's purpose was never a judgement of mankind in general.  It's purpose is to overthrow the existing political and religious governments to make way for Christ's Kingdom.  What does Ps 110:1 say?  "The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool."  Well?  Who are Christ's enemies?  Mankind in general?  Absolutely not, he died for them to have a place in his kingdom.  But rather, it is Satan projecting himself as an angel of light and his tools, the antichrist and the political governments, both of whom have presumptously assumed to rule mankind, obscuring the rightful place of the True Heir.  These are Christ's enemies, NOT mankind in general.

What does Ezekiel 36 Chapter tell us?
Verse 26 & 27"I will give you a 'new heart' and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and you will keep My judgments and do them."When do you expect this will occur?  Certainly not now, today.  This scripture applies to all mankind.  It has not been fufilled yet.  Not until AFTER Satan (the god of this system) is put down along with all of his "tools". That occurs at armageddon and then, UNDER Christ's rule, they will be taught and given a new heart.

WV, if the church was completed tomorrow and Jehovah let the 4 winds of destruction loose, you're saying that the fornicators, adulterers, murderers, pedaphiles, etc; would all walk right into the millenium and then hope to change their ways? Then what would be the sense in anyone trying to do what's right in our time? The "New World" would be the same old world with all it's problems!

This is exactly my point.  It is a doctrine of JW's that teach you it is possible to survive by "good works".  It's simply not true.  The "New World" is actually a NEW RULE, under Jesus Christ, so no, it won't be the "same old world" with all of its problems.  That will be done away with when Jesus puts down the old system and replaces it with the New Kingdom.  Consider the following:

Verse 31"Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations."If only those who have accepted Jesus Christ and his rule will be on the "other side of armaggedon", then WHO are these ones who will remember their "evil ways and deeds"?  WHO will be feeling this shame at their "iniquities and abominations"?  Is it not the same fornicators, adulterers, murderers that were practicing these sins PRIOR to armaggeddon?  PRIOR to Jesus removing Satan and his helpers?  Are not the majority of mankind ignorant of truth?  The destruction of both good and bad people during this time of great tribulation is collateral damage (NOT focused on mankind in general, but serves Jehovah's purpose) that has no authority over what Jesus Christ has promised.  He can and He will raise up everyone who has not had the opportunity to learn of his benevolent rule.  That includes everyone (still living) who has been blinded by the god of this system of things.  How do we know this?

Ezekiel 37:24 & 25:
"David" [the Greater David, Jesus Christ] My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in my judgments and observe My statutes and do them.....and My servant David, shall be their prince forever.

Please dear brother, do not allow yourself to be deceived by the misinterpretations of the society's teachings.  Prove it to yourself through scripture.
I delight to do Your will, O my God.  Ps 40:8

We have to consider that when the mediatorial reign begins. Everything will not be automatically perfect. It will take time. That's why it's called a millennial reign.

I haven't said anything about the fornicators, adulterers, murderers, etc., so I don't know how you jumped to that conclusion.

The Kingdom will begin gradually.  Do you think it's gonna be Armageddon one day, and the next day they're perfect?  If so, you have no conception of what the Kingdom will be like.

And, it's not just the fornicators, etc. that are sinners - all mankind are imperfect, fallen, and out of harmony with God's righeousness.  ALL are sinners, not just those guilty of gross sins.  There will be a process of recovery, during which time the world of mankind will be under the supervision of the Mediator.

KA, have you discussed your new found belief with any other JW? If so, what was their response?

Well I'm not Kevin, BUT when I was a JW, I recall sharing what I was learning with some friends in the congregation. I had a very large library at the time (larger even now) but at the time I had all of the Pastor's major writings on my shelf. These were mostly Bible Student reprints. Some took exception to my having them, calling them "old light". Of course it wasn't a problem for the Kingdom Hall library to have them. I remember asking an elder if it was wrong, and he told me no, it wasn't.

Of all the people I shared my findings with, only one believed, and she eventually became my wife and we left together, two years after we were married. The others stayed, not because they didn't believe, but because he had too much to lose, e.g. family, friends.

Most of the Witnesses that I have witnessed too, are of the same mentality. Fear of man.

RR, what was it exactly, that made you convinced the Bible students were the truth compared to the Jw's?
