The Parable of
the Sheep and the Goats
For most of their existence, the Jehovah's Witnesses have been taught that their preaching
work is a "separating work." Those who enter into their association are sheep
who will inherit the Kingdom, those who decline are marked as goats to be destroyed at
Armageddon. Since 1995, they have been taught that Jesus will do the separating work at
Armageddon. Here is a closer look at this parable.
